The passionate people behind Art Up India

Shamal Joshy

Shamal is a textile designer, illustrator, and painter. His practice spans digital illustration, acrylic, gouache, and texture based paintings rooted in organic form and a deep love for the handmade.

Sarika Chopra

Sarika is a creative designer and artist whose lines are emotional bridges, drawn between the inner world of human feeling and the world we navigate together. She believes the greatest art is born in small places of disruption, in the cracks where something true breaks through. Restless by nature, she has traveled across the country not as a tourist but as a witness, moving from one end to the other, collecting expressions, absorbing the quiet art that lives in places most people pass through without stopping. For Sarika, every place has something to say. She simply learned how to listen.

Nithiksha Maran
Nakul

A digital artist inspired by the world around him, his work emerges from quiet observations and lived experiences. Through a digital canvas, he transforms everyday moments into expressive visual stories that capture mood, atmosphere, and emotion.

Naani

Naani (Gayatri) makes art for websites, for buildings, for the vast and restless internet, but mostly for herself. She moves between screens and walls and open space, following something that doesn't have a name yet.

Girinath Gopinath

Girinath Gopinath is a multidisciplinary designer, artist, and educator based in India with over two decades of experience in jewelry design, illustration, and contemporary art. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at NIFT Kannur, he is passionate about bridging traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern design thinking. His work has been exhibited at prestigious platforms including the India Art Fair, Lalit Kala Akademi, and the Museum of Goa, and he was recognized among the top 7 Indian artists in 2011 by the Goethe Institute.

Bhadra

Bhadra is a multidisciplinary designer from Kerala working at the intersection of textile and graphic design. Detail-oriented and visually driven, she crafts home textiles and brand graphics with equal ease, finding pattern and meaning in both. Curious by nature, she moves fluidly between print, surface, and form, always searching for new ways ideas can take shape.
