Elias George Ponodathu

Elias George Ponodathu is a graphic designer, illustrator, and animator, self-taught at heart. He works across motion graphics, illustration, and animation, believing good work must be simple, memorable, and inviting to look at.
His debut animation film Kurumba, rooted in his grandmother’s telling, is a hand-drawn reckoning with caste and memory in old Kerala. The film earned selections at BIFA, Goa Short Film Festival, Animae Caribe, Birsamunda International Film Awards, and Animators Guild India Fest 2023, announcing him as a storyteller who draws with conscience.
