Urban Levitation

He never needed roads
only courage
and a city that forgot
to look up.
The auto flies now,
wings where wheels used to be,
neon bleeding beneath him
like a dream the street exhaled.
He leans forward
not rushing,
just belonging to the sky
the way he always belonged
to the chaos below.
The city changed.
The auto-wallah didn’t.
Same lungi, same slippers,
new altitude.
Somewhere below,
someone is still waiting
for a ride
that will never come back down.
