What Comes Into Focus

Through borrowed frames,
the world softens 
edges blur into something kinder,
something almost understood.

A quiet shore waits inside the lens,
an umbrella holding its small circle of shade,
as if certainty could be this simple:
a place to sit,
a horizon that does not rush away.

“I know so little,”
the thought drifts, unashamed 
but somewhere between not knowing
and still looking,
trust begins to form.

The sea keeps moving.
The sky keeps holding.
